How much does junk removal cost?

Junk Matters uses simple volume-based pricing based on how much space your items take up in our 15-cubic-yard trailer. Smaller jobs may only require a partial load, while larger cleanouts may require a full load or multiple loads. Most residential junk removal jobs typically range from $300 to $850 depending on the volume of items being removed.

 

What does your junk removal pricing include?

Our pricing includes loading, labour, hauling, disposal fees, recycling, and cleanup of the area once the junk has been removed. Taxes are also included, so you know the total cost before the job begins.

 

Do you charge extra for labour?

The first hour of labour is included in the load price. If a job requires additional labour time — such as stairs, long carry distances, heavy sorting, tight access, or disassembly — additional labour is $100 per hour per load. We always review this with you before any extra labour time is billed.

 

What situations may require extra labour time?

Extra labour time may apply when junk is located on multiple floors, spread throughout a property, located far from the truck, or requires significant sorting, bagging, or disassembly. Our team will discuss this with you during the estimate so there are no surprises.

 

Do you provide free junk removal estimates?

Yes. Junk Matters offers free, no-obligation estimates before starting any job. You can send photos, describe the items over the phone, or we can assess the volume on site to provide an accurate price before the work begins.
